Sick of Bugs !

Had the day at home today with both the girls sick. I am so over us all passing our bugs around. Ruby seems to be getting a raw deal and getting everything at least two or three times. She has been a bit of a spewing machine lately, had a little session last night while I was giving her a cuddle. Delightful.
I am so looking forward to the weather warming up, i know I have awhile to wait yet but at least we are having the occassional sunny day lately. I hate winter. I have been dragging myself out of bed to go to the gym two morning a week at 5:45am, I actually really enjoy this time of the day. I am a real morning person. Come 8:30pm in the evening I am ready for bed but. Gee you can tell I have had no adults company all day, just crapping on. lol

35 down 21 to go !

After my purchases at the craft fair I am more inspired to finish these stitcheries so I can start something new.
I am not much good at having more than one project on the go ! That is unless they are unfinished Cross stitches
and I think I have three of them.

Oh what a funny weekend.

I had a busy weekend this week. On friday night one of the lovely ladies from my work had her 50th
and farewell Dinner all in one. We had a great night and bad dancing was done by all.

Then on Saturday, Cathy, Leanne, Meredith and myself headed off to Hobart to the Craft Show.
We had a very enjoyable day and it was well worth the money we payed to have Cathy along as our entertainment
for the day. LOL. Some of her best performaces included driving down a one way street the wrong way, trying to get into
some elses car and the recruitment of the new Kia range to the Hobart Police force. Oh bless the Highland Quilter as
Meredrith said "for a teacher she is not very smart". You know we are just joking Sis, I mean everybody has trouble
filling there water bottle.

Here we are all ready to go Shopping.

Issi turning one !

As I did not have a blog when Issi was little I thought I would post some photo's of her at about the same age as Ruby.
As you can see they are very different. Isabella is very much like Nathan's family and Ruby like mine.

Issi with her cousin Alex.

And playing the piano at Aunty Cathy's house. I need to go though the photo's and scan a lot of the early
ones of Issi on to the computer.

Cheeky Monkey

Ruby is just so cute at the moment and getting a little bit cheeky. She has been giving use a little bit
of a run for our money in the sleeping stakes. Thinks its fun to wake up at 2:00am and want to play
for a few hours.

I love her little cheeks they are so cute and chubby !

As you can see I love taking photo's but I am certainly not a natural.

Finally !

Last saturday I finally got around to purchasing some buttons to cover and make hair ties.
I had been seeing everybodies wonderful creations and thought I would love to have a go.

These are some I purchased on Esty, my first purchase in fact. Bit of a funny story I did not do the
conversion very well on ended up getting two sets of hair clips for a little to much money.
Oh you live and learn.
More from Esty, I think these a little beyond my ability at the moment.

What a night !

Well we had the night from hell last night. Ruby woke at 2:30am and decided she would cry/scream or just call out for the next two hours. This resulted in her waking up Issi who had also wet her bed. So we all pilled into our bed, something we have been trying to break as a habit with Issi.
I had my first thursday at work today and had also planned to go to Pump this morning at 6:15am. So anyway it hurt when the alarm went off at 5:45am but I dragged myself out of bed. Feel better for it now but reckon I will be a bit tied at stitching tonight.

A relaxing Queens Birthday !

Well we had a very relaxing day yesterday. Went to friends for lunch and a few Reds. Had a lovely time and the kids played together well, poor little Ruby had no playmates but she was still a good girl. I ended up with a huge headache by the end of the day so went to bed with an ice pack on my head.
We are off to see Kung Foo Panda tonight with my brother and his family. He won free tickets so Issi is very excited. My niece and newphew are then staying up for a couple of days. We will have a full house until friday.

Our Baby is walking and climbing !!

This is Ruby the climber, this beautiful rocker chair that was made for me as a baby and is the cause of many accidents in our house at the moment. Ruby is often found climbing on to it or standing up on it.

On Saturday afternoon we went to Kids Paradise with my brother and his kids, Ruby had a lovely time
in the little grocery store. Unfortunatly my battery went flat so not many photo's. Yes and Ruby is finally walking,
this has seemed like a long time coming for us as Issi walked at nine months. They are all so different.

Well tomorrow is the big day, yes that is right Issi is doing her Ballet group tomorrow at the Competitions.
These photo's are from dress rehersals a few weeks ago. She is very excited about getting all her
face made up, we had to go and buy the bright red lippy.

What a cute Dolphin.
