I am off to Hobart !!!

I am off to Hobart today for the night for a work course being ran tomorrow. This morning was pretty hectic at our house as I had to make sure I had the school clothes ready for tomorrow and all the other little bits that you just do with out even realising. Did not put any clothes out for Ruby for creche tomorrow so I am sorry Rub's daddy will be picking your clothes for the day. LOL.
I made a decision yesterday that things in the sleeping department in our household need to change. Isabella has been one to come and get into our bed every since she was a baby, and I would say that for the past at least 12 months has done so every night. Until Ruby was 12months she was the best sleeper the best eater and very quite. Then over night it all changed, we found out she was allergic to Eggs, Nuts, Dairy and Tomato which makes like interesting and she decided that she would no longer sleep all night. The only thing is she is still a very good sleeper during the day and I really enjoy that also, however I think I am going to have to cut her down to one sleep. We have also made another HUGE mistake which I would never have done with Isabella and that is let her have a bottle in bed. She drinks rice milk so I used to think that it was alright for her teeth as it does not have the sugar, although now she wants one at 2:00am every morning.
Oh well we could be in for a few interesting weeks as I break these children. As long as I don't break first.

Home Readers !!!

Issi went back to school yesterday and last night she came home for the first time with a home reader. It made her seem so grown up. I can't believe she will at school fulltime next year. I think she is more than ready.
Had my ultra sound and more blood tests on monday, at the moment it looks like everything is pointing to an over active thyroid. Just want them to get to the bottom of it. I don't really feel sick at all any more except for being pretty tied.

Christmas Gathering

Yesterday we headed off on a little adventure to The Quilted Crows Christmas Gathering. It was a bit of a rough drive down with the weather ut we made it in time. I was not going to make anything to begin with, just finish off my NPNT 's stitchery's. However Cathy twisted my arm to do this cute little pin cushions and believe it or not I finished it !!!

This was the little gift we got from the Quitled Crow girls. Very cute.
I also found my next project, beautiful quilt by Natalie Bird called FairyLand. Not sure if I will do it for Issi or Ruby.

Frustrated !!!

Have been getting really frustrated with Blogger lately. I will write this huge post and attach photo's and then it will not let me log in. Then today when I logged in I found the post as a draft, don't know what is going on.
Well the holidays are almost over, they seem to go so fast. It takes our family the first week to get used to the different rountines of having Daddy home and then the second week to enjoy it.
The girls are going to be going to care every second monday from now on so as I can have a me day. Chance to do any Howick St paper work or jobs and a day to make any appointments. I am quite excited. I have a thyroid ultersound on Monday for my first free day so that is not so exciting. Trying to get to the bottom of why I am stillllllllllllllll sick.

Our trip to Adelaide

On thursday the 28th Ruby and I headed off to Adelaide, very early mind you. This photo was taken of Ruby on the airport shuttle at 4:22am. She did very well with the flights, we arrived in Adelaide at 10:00am and we felt like we had been awake for a full day already. Poor old Rub's was still in her jama's very uncool.
Kyla was very excited to see Ruby, we went to Ikea for Breakfast. Can you believe they have a cooked breakfast for $3.95 I think it was. I love Ikea, I so hope we get one in Tassie one day.
