Birthday Morning !!

The famous cake that I forgot once more, to post in the previous photo's. I have never worked with soft icing before but it was actually quite easy once you worked it out.

We had a balloon man as our special guest for Issi's party, so instead of a bag full of sugar to take home the little girls got a balloon animal or something made from a balloon. He was very clever.

These were Nathan's flower creations, I think he did a great job. Very proud of him.

It's PAARRTY Time !!

On the 10th August Issi turned 6, where have the years gone. We are starting to notice her becoming so grown up and independant. It is nice in someways but I still want her to be my little girls sometimes.
I decided to brave this year and had my first party at home for her, we have normally gone somewhere like the bike centre or kids paradise. It went really well except one thing, I forgot to bring the cake out. I had hidden it away from Ruby who kept trying to pull it off the bench on our bed with the door closed tight, when everyone had left I walked into our bedroom and there it was one the bed. It took me awhile to get over it, we took it to school the next day which was her actual birthday.
